Constituency Profile
Kabbe Constituency is one of the eight constituencies in the Zambezi region with a population of 14,518 (as per the 2011 Census). The constituency has an area of 2,135 km2 and is the third largest constituency in the region, and has a population density of 6.8 per square kilometre. All the surrounding areas of the constituency are prone to flooding every year, the floods approximately effects about 90% of the constituency.
The Constituency is situated in the extreme eastern part of the region and borders with Zambia in the North and Zimbabwe in the East, Botswana in the South and Katima Rural of the Zambezi region in the South-west. Kabbe is the administration seat, with Lusese being a growth point.
Educational Institutions: There are five (5) Primary, five (5) combined and one (1) secondary school.
