Functions:
- To ensure that decisions of the regional council are carried out;
- To consider any matter entrusted to the Regional Council by virtue of any provision of this Act or any other law in order to advise the Regional Council on such matter;
- To prepare and compile for approval of the Regional Council the estimates and supplementary estimates of the revenue and expenditure of the Regional Council;
- To control the expenditure of the monies voted by the Regional Council in its approved estimates and additional estimates and all other monies or funds made available to the Regional Council;
- To report at meetings of the Regional Council on the exercise of the powers and the performance of the duties and functions of the management committee;
- To exercise any power conferred upon the management committee under any provision of this Act or any other law; and
- To exercise any power of the Regional Council delegated to the management committee by the Regional Council by law.
